Content Producer

Istanbul · Full-time

Overview

Based in Istanbul, Cobe builds AI-powered apps designed for everyday use. The company’s focus is on practical tools that make daily tasks easier — helping people study, work, and organize their lives more efficiently, without replacing the thinking or creativity behind them.

Menthor is Cobe’s AI-powered study app, built to go further than typical study tools on the market. Upload your slides, notes, or any material, and Menthor turns it into a personalized study system — generating custom quizzes at your chosen difficulty level, grading your answers, and identifying exactly which topics you need to focus on most. Study solo or with friends, track your progress over time, and let Menthor guide you toward what actually needs work — not just what you’ve already covered.

You would own how our apps show up in the places people actually scroll. Half of this job is a camera: you shoot, you write, you cut. The other half is AI tooling: you take one idea that works and build the fifteen versions it needs to find its audience.

Both halves matter and they are not interchangeable. Real footage is what makes a video believable. AI is what makes the schedule survivable. The line we hold between them is simple — AI helps you produce faster, it never helps you manufacture proof. No invented users, no generated testimonials, no footage of a person who does not exist.

The job is end to end. You decide what is worth making, you make it, and you are the one who finds out whether it worked.

What you would do

  • Shoot original footage on a phone — often with yourself or a student creator in frame.
  • Write it and cut it.
  • Take a piece that lands and build variants with AI tooling: different hooks, lengths, languages, aspect ratios. This is core to the role — you should be fluent in AI tools for video, image, and audio, and genuinely excited about what they make possible.
  • Know which of those variants to keep and which to delete. Most of them.
  • Decide what goes out, where, and when, across our channels.
  • Read what happened afterwards and explain why, in terms more useful than "the algorithm".
  • Brief and review a pool of student creators who make videos alongside you.
  • Answer the people who reply. Early on, the comments are the research.

Requirements

  • Proficient in English.
  • Able to shoot and cut on a phone, and comfortable being the one in frame.
  • Familiar with AI tools for video, image and audio — and able to tell a good output from a passable one.
  • Quick to pick up whatever tool replaces those, because something will.
  • Genuinely interested in mobile apps — what makes one spread, what makes one get deleted.
  • Things you have made. A channel, a client, a hobby account, a film you cut for a friend. Volume does not matter. We want to see what you chose.
  • Able to say why a piece of work landed or did not, without reaching for the algorithm as the explanation.

Nice to have

  • Experience in mobile gaming or the mobile app industry.
  • Comfortable in a proper edit when a piece needs one. CapCut is fine, so is Premiere.
  • Any experience making things for students, or for an audience close to your own age.
  • A habit of finishing side projects nobody asked for.

What you get

The Cobe Box. On your first day: the kit the work actually needs. Plus Cobe merch, which is better than it has any right to be.

How to apply

Send us three things at apply@cobestudio.com:

  1. Your CV.
  2. Something you made. A link is fine. One piece, not a reel of everything.
  3. Your answer to this: pick any video — yours or someone else’s — and tell us why it worked, or why it didn’t. A short paragraph is plenty.
